Hawaii at last!

As soon as we step foot of the plane into Hawaii we are hit by the heat. This is definitely more like it. When we get to our hostel we find it is a block from the beach and the nightclubs. Exactly what the doctor ordered!!!
We have been spending most our time here chilling on the beach attempting a tan, don’t worry mums and dads we’ve been applying the factor 30, which is obviously the only reason why we have not yet got the golden tan we aspire to. It has nothing to do with the fact that neither of us has ever had a tan in our lives and are afraid of the inevitable pealing and blistering.
Our hostel holds a pub crawl every week and being the alcoholics that we are we feel obliged to go. Its excellent fun as we get to meet everyone from our hostel and then hide from them the next day cause we have embarrassed ourselves with our slick dance moves.
Hawaii is good fun but quite touristy, feels like we are on a mini holiday in the middle of our trip. Its not quite the paradise we imagine but we haven’t actually moved from Waikiki beach since we got here (too lazy). There are 4 islands (we think) in total so its impossible to see it all in the short time we have spent here. We have been told that the other islands are the prettiest. Its so nice here we would definitely come back.
